How I cherish sharing this photo I took with tears in my eyes. Through the fog of Alzheimer's disease my mother leaned forward in her wheel chair when meeting her great grandson for the first time. I watched as a brief tiny spark of loving light shined in her eyes as she studied his little face. I was in love with both of them already but this moment brought a wave of emotions into my heart. After this brief moment she leaned back and the blank stare of Alzheimer's disease returned to her face.
