First night spent camping at Mount Whitney. Our travels this summer solidified in my mind how valuable our country is. She is beautiful and she has endless gifts to offer us all. But she must be protected. She must be respected and fought for. So that generations to follow may have the joy of being about to travel her trails and rivers and mountains so that they can experience and appreciate her beauty.
