An Ethiopian Orthodox priest sitting in front of one of the UNESCO world heritage rock-hewn churches in Tigray, Ethiopia. These churches carved high in the mountains were built in the 11-15th centuries and have extraordinary paintings inside. Normally one priest will guard the cave church. A spectacular setting and sunset.

Excellent moment here, Greg. Love the sunset, but it's the priest who stares off into the distance in front of the cave that really interests me in this image. I love how the light is shining through the clothes he is wearing, that's such a nice added detail to this photo. I also appreciate how you composed this image, the wide angle let's me take in the subject as well as the landscape.
