Edit Photo Details Daughter at Lake McDonald   #glaciernationalpark #thetonicofwildness
Dear possible grandchildren: my daughter, fresh from completing her MBA in sustainable business, walked out on the dock in a place her great grandfather came to in 1912 after drilling for oil in eastern Montana. A wildfire, invisible here, burns 1,500 acres of old growth forest over the ridge on her left as drought and altering climate grip the West. I framed this shot wondering how she would affect the future of the next generation as she stands at the edge of her own. With love, Grandma
