During a workshop in Oslo I followed the Oslo riding police for some days. While preparing for service the officer had some very quiet, tender and intimate moments with the horse she chose for common service. The horses in the riding squad are not only vehicles for police men and women. The police sees them as real partners. As those they take care for each other and when a horse has its final time, it gets loving care from the members of the squad.
