I took this shot the other day when I came accross this abandoned campground and what immediately came to mind was the absence of love and color in the scene. It was screaming indifference, screaming for love, for color. I needed to capture the image in an attempt to give it life; it looked so dead...unloved. It's like people packed up all the love and left the rest to die. This is true life in black and white, no filters needed here! (Vignetting used to emphasize the mood)
