A fishing lure got entangled on the gannet's foot. I tried to help with a long stick. The bird was agitated by my action. So, I stopped. I could not help, so I hoped that the bird could survive the migratory journey. Photographed on the eastern coast of Canada, near the Perce Rock bird sanctuary. In my failure to connect with this bird, I apologized for the human who discarded the lure. I love you, my little bird!
