Since my father's stroke four years ago, he's been a difficult patient for my mom, his caregiver. He gets angry every day, complains incessantly about everything - taking his pills, his current condition, his "half a brain" - and makes life very stressful for her. But she stays because she knows his behavior is due to the stroke and also...because she loves him. Here they are with their pets including two dogs. The dogs are the only ones who can make my father happy.
