    The invasive plant eating carps are planted in Delake to keep the invasive plants from taking over the lake. Notice the bottom in this shallow water does not have any plants/vines growing as the carp continually harvest the young tender vines/leaves. They do not reproduce so must be restocked after a few years. This fish is in the Crystal Lagoon of Delake, in Lincoln City, Oregon.
