Our 2 year-old Gwennie snuck up on this monarch butterfly and laid there captivated for several minutes, inspecting every millimeter of its wings and body. After her encounter she would excitedly say "orange buf-fly!!!", so clearly this one left an impression. I hope she keeps this curiosity the rest of her life.
