On June 10, 1944,after D-Day and the allied advance, the French city of Oradour Sour Glane had its population of men, women and children massacred by Nazi troops. The martyr village is nowadays a memorial, and the silence of the streets, the destroyed buildings, the burnt church, the rusty cars, make us remember the victims of intolerance.
