"Making of Naga Sadhus"
Nearly 2000 young boys, men & women going for the initiation ceremony, where they will be taken in the order of the Naga sadhus or Hindu holy men of the Juna Akhara.They will attend Dikasha, a ritual on the banks of river Shipra, during the ongoing “ Simhastha Kumbh Mela”. During the initiation ceremony, they will do the pind daan, or will perform funeral rites for their parents and self, a symbolic act implying they have now left the world they have born into, and crossed over to another one.
