Was out walking with my camera, which I do oftentimes when I have a gut feeling that a good shot is waiting, and on the way back from my fruitless trip I was confronted with this dead bee, which, unlike most bee corpses which are found on sidewalks and present themselves in a sad manner to a young photographer, was not completely squashed, and to much avail, I snapped several photos on macro, adding a significant amount of time to my walk, and was satisfied with this shot.
