On one of our back road adventures yesterday, my husband and I came across 2-3 homes in a row that had been abandoned. As we stopped and I took photos of this home, we speculated of days when this home was first built and the feelings of the people who may have lived there whose laughter, tears and footsteps once resonated within its walls. It is a home filled with someone else's memories now. Oh the stories it must hold within those abandoned walls now. If only they could talk.
