Small red mangrove shoots speckle the waters of Big Cypress National Preserve where paddle me canoe. I am attracted to the 'small' scapes like this one where I can use water movement to add texture to the water and create compositions using the little mangrove plants. For this one, I set up to capture the silhouette of these 2 seedlings as the design of the leaves reminded me of a yoga pose. A water bug created the ripples and the effect worked for me.
