I was doing a personal project about the anti-POSCO protests which were being done in retaliation to the government's decision to sell land that belonged to the indigenous tribal people of Odisha for generations. One morning, I walked out of the room I was put up in to find this woman and her cows outside her hut, as she was picking herbs. For me, that moment was a revelation of pure harmony between nature and humankind as the soft sunshine peered through the sky along the banks of the Mahanadi.
