The area is situated at an elevation of about 3500 ft above sea level and was a closed Air Force station, remained unconquerable and elusive for nearly four decades until this week reopened to the public. The circular place at the left is the Ceremonial Place honoring the site's Native American history and return to the mountain, a place to reflect on and renew connection with nature. The 5-story tall tower at the right was a radar station defending airspace of western hemisphere in Cold War.
