I woke up very early to climb the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes before the crowd and the extreme heat. On my way back, I suddenly saw this family hiking up on the ridge of the sand dune. The morning light created such a beautiful and peaceful shadow of them. This image was heavily cropped since I did not bring my long lens during the hiking.
