    All of a sudden there she was. A stunning, fully grown mountain gorilla one foot away from me. I wouldn't have seen her if the guide hadn't pointed her out. We had only been hiking for 30 minutes along the side of a mountain in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It was supposed to take hours, not minutes to find the Makara family. she was so peaceful, eating leaves enjoying her afternoon. And there I was, shaking as I fumbled to take her picture. Inches from her, and not a care in the world.
