Upper Peninsula, Michigan has quite a few Dark Sky Places. This wasn't a new moon night, I was trying my luck. I was at Brockway Mountain to get the Milkyway shot after the moon set, unfortunately, it got cloudy. I had to drive back to pictured rocks to get the shot at 4 am and it didn't work out either. And then the next night, the moon was going to set at 10.47 pm and I was at 12-mile beach at pictured rocks. It is one of the most secluded beaches in Pictured Rocks, very dark and quiet.
