I found Kit Kat (cat) crying in a parking lot with crusts over her eyes and a limp while she was walking. It broke my heart to see her that way and knew I had to take her home and rescue her. The day after I took her in, I cautiously tried to introduce her to my dogs, Fuji and Limey (who are rescues themselves) and to my surprise, they took her in cared for her like a little sister. Dogs and cats cannot just be friends, they can be family.
