Aerial Shot of a dried up river delta at Lake Urmia, Iran. Once the second largest hypersaline salt lake is now drying rapidly. Almost 80% of the surface disappeared, leaving the rest of the lake at an increased salt concentration which endanger the unique brine shrimp living there and which are food to many birds. Lake Urmia is a UNESCO biosphere reserve.
