Impressionistic Storm
As me and a friend got out from the forest where the camping was located, we could finally feel the powerful wind we heard all night. As we advanced on the trail, snow started. Hesitating at first, the storm gradually grew in power, the snowflakes got bigger and bigger, until an impressionistic layer of furious weather coated the slopes covered with lenga beech trees (Nothofagus pumilio). It was one of the highlights in our trip to the base of the Patagonian mountains.
