Waterproof makeup saves the day!
Beads of sweat add an extra layer of decoration to this painted Wodaabe boy during the Gerewol festival. The festival dances typically take place in the early evening, sometimes running all through the night and into the next morning, until the heat soars to an unbearable oven-like temperature. I was exhausted just watching them!
