I wanted to photograph the rare blue morph species of arctic foxes in their harsh winter environment. To photograph these miraculously tough animals, I went to the uninhabited Hornstrandir Nature Reserve in northern Iceland.Staying in a remote cabin for days, through really tough winter conditions, i studied their survival instincts. as it searched for prey, using snow covered rocks as vantage point, it looked straight at me - giving me an opportunity to capture its beautiful eyes & winter coat.
