Human activity has begun affecting the way frogs live and reproduce. More and more tadpoles are developing mutations as they metamorphose, and unpredictable weather patterns are creating a habitat that is unsuitable to their specific needs. Frogs are an indicator species, and they are disappearing. I caught this frog in a creek owned by my great-grandfather - I would like to know that when I have great-grandchildren, they will be able to enjoy these amazing creatures too.
