    Reported by:

Day #8 of the Sonoma/Napa fires. The sunrises all week continue to be beautiful in an eerie (almost abstract) way against the backdrop provided by the smoke of the fires. I wake up at dawn to shoot them. The fishermen are always there on the bluff near the Richmond San Rafael Bridge. I worry for their health given the air quality, but I also find their presence comforting - I guess it is the predictability of their arrival in the midst of fire created chaos.
