I had always known ' Ophelia ' as a beautiful pale pink fragrant rose but yesterday she metamorphosed into a demon wind. Here in the South East of England we didn't get the worst of it but we certainly had an eerie yellow sky, brilliant red sun which cast strange pink lights over the kitchen floor, and an unusually strong wind which tore the banana palm to shreds.
