I'm guessing that 75% of the annual visitation to Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens in Washington DC takes place during July and August when their acres of beautiful lotus are in bloom. It is spectacular indeed. But even after the lotus have faded, there's plenty more that interests me. They also have several ponds of water lilies with various lilies that bloom throughout spring, summer and autumn.
