Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this iguana sunning himself. I've only ever seen them this big on the mainland, not on the baja. They have a lifespan up to 20 years in the wild. Unfortunately, they're in high demand in the pet trade but apparently are hard to maintain and most die within the first year or end up in a shelter.
