Taken right outside of Boston during the 2017 Solar Eclipse. Since I do not own a tripod or special lens cover I had to improvise. I used the special Eclipse-proof glasses to cover the lens and capture the image. Since I did not own a tripod I had to balance the camera on my knee without exposing the lens to the harsh UV rays for more than a few seconds. Boston was not the site of the full solar eclipse but we did get a partial eclipse which was beautiful as well. No cameras were harmed!
