Edit Photo Details Pond Lily Blossom   #flower #lilly_pads #pond_lily
Pond Lilies add cover (shade) and a place for fish to hide from predators. The lily pads (leaves) also keep the water temperature lower than it would be without them. Excess nutrients are absorbed by water lilies which helps maintain a healthy pond ecosystem. Frogs and Dragonflies also use these plants as resting and breeding places. Visual enjoyment is another benefit of these plants.
