One evening, rather than hike to one of the reflection ponds around Wonderlake, I decided to stay at my campsite and watch Denali through the clouds. I made tea, set up the tripod and enjoyed the ever-changing scene of (the) mountain and sky. I've been thinking about this place a lot recently. Past travels have a way of sneaking into present thoughts. And while I know we should live in the moment, I am happy for the memories, too.
