The turning torch is one of the old traditions of Behbahan's peoples in the month of Muharram and the mourning of Ashura. The torch's history back to many years ago when there was no electricity and modern lighting system in the cities. At the mourning night, the turner torch was moving in front of the mourners and made the way clear and Bright to them.
