A pleasant day came along in October and I went out paddling with a couple friends. It was a perfect day and we were the only playing hooky. I paddled up into a narrow part of the lake that was overhung with trees. Perfect silence. Just before I put my paddle back in the water, I looked over the edge and saw this leaf, mixing it up with the needles and the water lawn (green stuff). It wasn't until I got home and looked at it again that I saw the reflection. Love the big detail found closeup!
