This Red Fox is a pretty familiar traveller across my yard along the shore of Lake Superior in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. We first met in the spring when the kits emerged from their den. I never did get an actual accounting but thought there were 6. It seems this and one other sibling were allowed to remain in their parents territory.
