France, 15th Century. French and English armies are involved in what's called "War of 100 years" (1337-1453). Jeanne d'Arc, 17 yo, declared hearing voices from saints who missioned her to free French Kingdom of English occupation. Jeanne d’Arc enrolled the army after restoring King Charles VII on the throne of France. She fought victoriously in several battles but was captured and sold the English. After a fake trial, she was convicted to be burned publicly, like a witch, on the 30th May 1431.
