My daughter is a foster mom. She cares for drug addicted babies. It can take a year or more before a forever family is arranged. This little guy came from the hospital and stayed 11 months. She spent many nights holding him close, walking him through his symptoms. Because of my daughter, his first year he felt special and loved. We miss him. The foster care program is one way to make a difference in the world one baby at a time.
