Every year, Day of the Dead is celebrated in Mexico. One of the traditions is the Alfeñiques, which are sugar made figures with death as the central theme. These figures adopt cultural items from other countries and incorporate them into the tradition. Coca Cola is considered one of the variables that has impacted Mexico´s public health diabetes epidemic.
