Coming from Hawaii, cold water adventures never really caught my eye until I met a couple of Irish surfers. I decided to leave my board shorts behind and pack on a 5 mm wetsuit. Little did I know what I would get myself into. Numb hands and a freezing brain was all worth it during this trip. This session took me out of my comfort zone and it was amazing to see Balaram from New York take on this beast of a wave. Travel and adventure no matter how cold it is!
