    Edit Photo Details Fading Light on Haystack Rock   #water #sea #sunset #reflection #ocean #seascape #oregoncoast #cannonbeach #protecttheselands
The story of this photograph started in 1985. I was a lot younger then, and a movie came out called The Goonies. A movie I love to this day. The things that resonated most with me from the film were the shots of the coastline, and particularly the images of Haystack Rock. I finally was able to visit during the 4th of July weekend. There were days of gloomy weather and bright sunshine, but what I was hoping for most was a spectacular sunset. I captured this photograph using a three shot HDR.
