I tried shooting this scene a few different ways (color, b&w, infrared), but I found the infrared most interesting (if not the prettiest). Initially I was just shooting the yellow foliage, but then I noticed the pretty scene in the window. The morning sun hit my birch tree like a spotlight and the window reflection is like a mirror backstage. Although the photos of the foliage were boring, I'm glad they lured me outside into the cold morning.
