While bird watching on the beach today, I got to see this snow bunting. This species arrived about 2 weeks ago, from the north. They migrate here (the east coast of Canada) for the winter. The weather was slightly above freezing this morning, a cold time, for bird watching. When this species shows up, the snowy weather can be not far away.
