Grand Canyon South Rim (Desert View)
I captured a smoky sunset on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon after a controlled burn on the North Rim had filled the canyon with a haze. The ethereal nature of the light was only possible because of the smoke in the air. This shot turned out to be a delightful surprise after an entire day of viewing the canyon with less than optimal circumstances.
