Elephants can spend up to 18 hours per day eating. Grass, trees, bushes and any type of vegetation they come across. Its not surprising that after all that fiber, they will drink up to 50 gallons of water in that same day. That is about as much water as it takes to fill an entire bathtub. Very interesting and busy animals.
