My wife and I had just descended from the Torre Guinigi Lucca when we encountered Pamela Larese, using her accordion and remarkable voice to perform traditional songs of the Maremma region. My wife bought one of her self-produced albums containing songs of emigration, titled "Tra la Maremma e l’America. She said she loves street singing, and that shows in her face in this photo I took of her.
