HIMANK personnel are responsible for the construction and maintenance of roads and related infrastructure including the world's highest motorable roads in Ladakh, India, They battling tough terrain and extreme climatic conditions to protect and maintain the roads at high altitude even risking their lives. Hundreds of them lost their lives on duty. This is a tribute to these Unsung Heroes who maintain the life line of Northernmost part of India
