During a long layover at LAX while traveling home from New Zealand, I spent a few hours in Santa Monica. Ate dinner on the pier and as the evening light waned, watched the sunset over the Pacific. As an east coaster, it was the first time I had gotten to see a west coast sunset. The four palm trees made an awesome subject to wrap up an incredible vacation around the world.
