The word 'Hero' does not always stand for a savior or a celebrity, to me it resembles ones ability to conquer any difficult situation, like this sprout I found this resilient sprout in a drought affected region of India. The scarcity of water in the area can be seen by the amount of cracks in the soil surrounding this unsung hero but still its ability to fight against such condition motivated me a lot. We always pray to God in our tough time but our own effort can be enough to survive those.

I love Your Shot photographer Sukanya De's comment: "A very inspiring story of survival in this heartfelt frame!! Love the fascinating splash of green that stands out against the grey! What a striking contrast in the brave sprout standing strong overcoming the difficult conditions of life in this drought affected region! A powerful visual story of sustainability and triumph of 'life' that is brilliantly expressed in this very aesthetic portrayal of the theme of 'Opposites'!! Great shot!"
