    During one of our zodiac excursions away from the ship we moved slowly through an ice-filled bay which allowed us to get within feet of resting seals. Snow was beginning to fall but the sun was also pushing through the clouds creating the most amazing lighting. Even though we did a full circle around this particular ice floe, all this seal did was happily stretch a little before resuming his nap. There's no place on earth that's quite like antarctica.
